DR. STEPHANIE POPLAR

Dr. Stephanie C. Poplar is a global leader in education and business, nonprofit business development professional, motivational speaker, and radio host with more than 25 years of experience advancing empowerment, education, and economic mobility.

Raised in public housing, Dr. Poplar transformed early life challenges into purpose through education, mentorship, and faith. Her lived experience informs a career dedicated to equity, leadership development, and generational impact. She holds a Master of Arts in Legal, Ethical & Historical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Public Policy from the University of Baltimore, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Stevenson University. She also holds Honorary Doctorates in Education and Financial Literacy from the School of the Great Commission.

Dr. Poplar is the Visionary and Founder of Celebrate Greatness & Women, a global leadership platform designed to empower women entrepreneurs, professionals, and change-makers through leadership training, strategic networking, and recognition initiatives.

She is also the founder of We Care Baltimore, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit co-founded with her late mother, Dorothy Mae Holmes-Geathers, focused on education-based programs that promote self-sufficiency and economic empowerment. Expanding her work with youth, she created Baltimore Project Girl, an innovative initiative teaching financial literacy and life skills to youth and young adults.

In the financial empowerment space, Dr. Poplar works closely with Dr. Shirley Luu, assisting individuals and families with retirement planning and estate planning strategies that support long-term security and legacy building.

Dr. Poplar currently serves as Vice President of Institutional Growth with the School of the Great Commission, where she leads global partnership development and institutional expansion while supporting the recognition of distinguished leaders worldwide.

A seasoned media professional, Dr. Poplar has nearly 19 years of radio broadcasting experience, hosting programs on WOLB 1010 AM and Praise 106.1 FM, delivering motivational, faith-based, and impact-driven content to thousands of listeners weekly.
